2015 - present
I have been teaching at Lairon for seven years and this is my third year teaching 5th-grade. I might have taught your other children and they might have told you something about me. That's right! I taught seventh grade for four years and sixth grade for one year.
Before 2015
I got my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from San Jose University, and I taught at a Middle school (6th-grade Math and Science) for one year prior to joining the Lairon family.
Way before 2014
I was an on call substitute teacher for two districts: Sunnyvale and Cupertino.
All the way back to the 90s
I was a homemaker nurturing my lovable son, Nathan, and he is growing maturely along with my supportive husband, Michael. My hobbies then were
web designing and e-Learning.
In the 80s
I graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. I worked for the high-tech industries for fourteen years after graduation. I am very surprised that my final career is in the field of Education. So, I understand when a student says, "I will never going to use these maths."
